I just upgraded my ios from 6 to 7.02 and am having some issues. After I ask Siri a question and try to review the answer I seem to be locked into the status bar area of the phone and nothing I do seems to get me to the text to review. All I get when I swipe is the time, battery charge, the listen button and a help button, but I can’t swipe past those to get to where I think I need to be. Any suggestions on what could be happening here? Also, Siri sounds like maybe she had a little too much to drink compared to the old Siri. Is there anyplace to adjust the reading rate and pitch? Thanks for reading.

I often have to press the home button and then restart Siri, if VoiceOver is on. I'm not sure if there is a conflict, or a setting somewhere in Accessibility or someplace but Siri doesn't respond the first time. I can make it do it again and then it will work, though. Wish it wouldn't do that.

If you have the Siri problems I mentioned, reset it. To do this go Settings - General - Siri, turn it off and then click Disable Siri in the box that comes up.
Then, turn it back on, and it now works.
They say it will forget things when you turn it off, maybe it does some. But it remember relationships and still had my contact as the contact card or whatever.

The reason Siri remembers relationships is because it is on your contact card Leo.
As to the posters issues, it is hard to say without seeing the phone.
The new OS doesn't work much differently, so the first step I'd do would be to reset Voice Over. To do that connect it to a computer, open iTunes, and the phone, and go to configure accessibility.
IIf you need a guide say and I'll post steps.
If that doesn't work, resetting the phone normally clears up things.
Note, there are still some glitches being worked out. These glitches are different for different users for whatever reasons. Apple will release an upgrade this week I understand, so maybe this will fix your issue.
Instead of swiping around, look in the screen to see if you are missing something before you start resetting things.
I've worked with some people, and they tend to get over physical is the only way I can describe it. With the new OS, doing so causes the phone to respond quicker than Voice Over tells you, so it is jumping all over, and people are tapping, and swiping, and well, it gets no place.
The screens are sensitive, so slow it down some for a while. Lol
